This is not about a new exercise to rival yoga, but it does tire a lot of people more than yoga. I'm sure that like most ordinary people whose taxes are higher than their salaries, you are also struggling to make your paycheck last until the next. But actually, there is a simple solution that requires only minimal effort and a little sacrifice.
Flipping through a magazine, I came to realize how much extra stuff people consume without really needing it. Maybe it's all part of the
consumerist ethos that's gripping the nation but not all people realize that it's actually costing them precious money. I think that if people only learn how to spend wisely and live simply, budget problems would be a thing of history. Mind that I am not asking you to starve yourself or deny yourself pleasures. I am only asking you to appreciate living simply.
Living simply does not mean that you go back to rubbing sticks for fire, or dressing in rags. There are few things that people can let go that will cause them to save money. Instead of shopping of canned goods and processed food, shop for fresh food. Cook them on a weekend and freeze them. This way, you save on gas because you don't have to cook everyday and possible medical expenses form the diseases you'll get from too much preservatives. Fresh foods do not only lower your expenses, they also keep you healthy and fit. If shopping is your hobby, try looking for stuff at the department stores, flea markets, and thrift shops. There are good bargains here that are cheap, fashionable, and stylish. They are not so different from designer stuff, because you only pay for the designer's name when buying branded clothes. Also think about using pre-paid internet if you don't go online regularly for long periods. You save this way because you only pay for the hours you consume online. Instead of riding your
new sports car, use public transportation when traveling short distances; you'll save mileage and gas. See, it's not really hard to save. Letting go of extra expenses is enough to save you precious bucks.
